Program Guide
Parent's Checklist- Fill out After School All Stars Registration & Health forms
- Inform your child's school that they will be participating in the program. Make them aware of the possible brief holding period for pick-up from us. Also, please let us know who the school contact person is.
- Important. Please advise us in the event that your child is sick or goes home early from school that day. We do not want to wait for a child who isn't at school. Call us early as possible or leave a message if there is no answer.
- Make sure that your child attends his Tae Kwon Do Testing & Graduation Days.
Student's Rules and Regulations
- During Homework Time, students shall conduct themselves as if they were in a library setting. This activity is for the completion of homework assignments.
- No horseplay or other rowdy disruptive behavior is allowed. No foul language or other inferior language that shall be tolerated. Students are at all times to follow the instruction of the program director, or martial arts instructor while under our guidance.
- Student's belongings are to be stored on designated area of the studio. Karate uniform should be kept on each gym bag. Weekly cleaning by parents is mandatory for all student uniforms. (Gym bags will be sent home on Fridays)
- All Star Martial Arts assumes no responsibility for lost or misplaced items.
- Student will be terminated from the program if found to behave with dishonesty, deception, deceit, or other improper behavior. Students may not have friends call upon them while in our program and student’s friends will be instructed to go home.
- Students may not leave the program early without written or verbal consent of the parent. Parents must provide written notice if someone other than the authorized parent is picking up the child from the program. Authorized person must present proper identification.
- In case of emergency or warranted circumstances, students will be accompanied by a staff member of All Star Martial Arts. Students are not to leave the school premises during or after school program alone.
Transportation Information
- Students will be transported from their respective schools at specific time. Therefore, it is very important that each student should be ready to be picked up at the prescribed time. Drivers cannot be held accountable for students who are not at their pick up point at the designated time.
- Parents should practice with children in recognizing the school van sign.
- Drivers will use careful discretion and attempt to be reasonable in grace periods for waiting.
- Students will be required as by law, to wear their seat belts at all times while being transported. Booster seats required by law must be provided by parents. Student violating this policy will be issued a written warning (sent home to parents).
- Students cannot bring bikes or other recreational hardware into the vehicle. There is no room for these types of articles.
These rules are designated for safety of the students as the number one priority.
Holiday Schedule
The after school program will be closed on all Federal Holidays, Thanksgiving Holiday, Christmas Holiday, Public County Holidays (Teacher Workdays), including Spring Break.
Inclement Weather Schedule
The after school program will be closed in the event that County Public Schools are closed due to bad weather. If County Schools are opening late, then there will be normal after school program. If County Schools close early there will be no after school program.
