Master Philip Baroody
Master Instructor / Owner
Master Philip Baroody has studied martial arts since 1984. He received his black belt in Tae Kwon Do from Grand Master Jhoon Rhee under the instruction of Master Jeff Smith in 1984 and has since earned the rank of fourth degree black belt.
Master Baroody won two world titles as a member of the "Force One" National Karate Team in 1991 and 1992. Master Baroody participated for several years in "Karate Helps Kick Diabetes", was inducted in the SuperKids Hall of Fame, and was the President of the Washington Youth Foundation teaching inner city children Martial Arts from 2000 – 2007.
In addition to being an extraordinary martial artist, Philip Baroody is both respected and recognized for his unique teaching style. He believes that being a Martial Artist is not just about learning how to kick and punch, it is about becoming the best that you can be in every way. His uncanny ability to positively motivate children to achieve their highest potential is unmatched. He provides the classroom with an endless amount of creativity, energy and master instruction. He is constantly seeking new and innovative ways to enthuse and inspire his students. By monitoring each child’s progress, Master Philip Baroody is dedicated to children’s overall success. |

Vincent Deocampo
Head Instructor
Mr. Vincent DeOcampo began martial arts at the age of 5. He received his black belt in Tae Kwon Do at the age of 15 from his father, Master Dee DeOcampo. In the past, he was a team member of the world renowned sparring team, DKT Force One. He has won numerous championships including the Battle of USA, the World Series of Martial Arts, and most recently the North American Grappling Competition. He trains both in the arts of Tae Kwon Do and Jiu-Jitsu. Currently, Mr. DeOcampo resides in Northern Virginia. He received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from George Mason University and has undergone extensive training in the medical field. In addition to providing our students with the highest level of instruction, Mr. DeOcampo is actively pursuing a nursing degree. He is an incredible asset to the All Star Family and we are very fortunate to have him as our Head Instructor. |

Will Pedneau
Instructor
Will Pedneau has over 9 years of martial arts experience. Will is the head instructor at Black Belt Academy and is known for his charismatic way with teaching. He is an excellent motivator and very knowledgeable in the practice, teaching, and disciplines or Tae Kwon Do. |

Wen-Li Cheng
Assistant
Wen-Li Cheng is a second degree under Master Robert Chung of Black Belt from the Black Belt Academy in Fairfax. She has won numerous local championships as a junior competitor including a Four Time "Masters Cup" Overall Grand Champion. She is one of the most impressive youth martial artist you will see. |

Diana Liao
Assistant
Diana began studying Tae Kwon Do in college in 2004 under Master Hwang, where she gained experience in collegiate tournaments in forms and sparring. She has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Yale University, and now works as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, where she and Megha work down the hall from one another. Diana is proud to have earned her first degree black belt here at All Star under Master Baroody and is happy to be part of the All Star community. |

Megha Mehta
Assistant
Megha has studied martial arts since 2002 and received her first degree from Master Tae Hyen Park in St. Louis, Missouri. She earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois in Materials Science and Engineering in 2007 and shortly thereafter moved to Virginia to begin work at the Patent and Trademark Office with Diana. Megha is currently working towards her second degree black belt here at All Star and is proud to be a part of the All Star Family. |
